FLYING TRUCK TIRE HITS CAR

MISSISSAUGA — A flying truck tire hit a car during this morning’s rush hour commute on Winston Churchill Blvd., Peel Regional Police report. The fire came off a dump truck travelling north on Winston Churchill at Eglinton Ave. at 8:40 a.m. No one was reported injured and minor damage was done to the car, according to police. There is no word yet on possible charges.
“It was very fortunate that nobody was injured,” said Peel police spokesperson Const. Lillian Fitzpatrick.
